Why Choose BB Driving School?

We are incredibly proud of the driving school we have built – and the reputation it has earned. With over 170 five-star Google reviews and countless first-time pass success stories, BB Driving School has become the trusted choice for driving lessons in Morley, driving lessons in Leeds, driving lessons in Wakefield, and all surrounding areas across West Yorkshire.

But don't just take our word for it. Our pupils have done the talking.

Scroll down and you'll see photo after photo of real learners holding their driving test pass certificates – each one accompanied by their genuine Google review. These aren't paid testimonials or marketing claims. These are real people, real first-time passes, and real five-star feedback from learners who trusted BB Driving School to get them through their practical driving test.

Every single review represents a journey. A nervous beginner who became a confident driver. A pupil who thought they'd never pass – and proved themselves wrong. Someone who switched driving instructors and finally found the teaching style that worked for them.

Over 170 five-star reviews. Countless first-time passes. One driving school you can trust.

1. 🥇 Excellent First-Time Pass Rates in Your Area

Our success speaks for itself – proven by our first-time pass success photos and genuine reviews right here on this page. Our pupils pass at Heckmondwike, Wakefield, and Bradford Thornbury test centres – and they tell everyone about it.

2. ⭐ Over 170 Five-Star Google Reviews

Our reputation is built on word of mouth and genuine five-star feedback from real learners across Morley, Leeds, Wakefield, and beyond. These aren't paid reviews – they're real results from real people.

3. 🏆 Highest Grade 'A' DVSA Qualified Instructors

We only use the highest grade driving instructors – fully qualified, DVSA approved, and tested every 4 years to maintain their standard. You will never be taught by a trainee with a pink badge.

4. 📋 Patient, Professional, Punctual Structured Lessons

Every lesson is tailored to you, using Pocket Instructor workbooks – a structured system that tracks your progress lesson by lesson and ensures you're fully prepared for your practical driving test. No pressure, no rushing – just steady, structured progress.

5. 📱 FREE Theory Test Training

Every BB pupil gets free access to Theory Test Pro – the best app to help you pass your theory test first time. We've got your theory covered, so you can focus on your driving.

We're Not a Franchise – And That Matters

When you book with BB Driving School, you get the same Grade 'A' instructor every lesson. No trainees with pink badges. No being passed around different instructors. Just consistent, high-quality tuition from someone who knows your strengths, your weaknesses, and exactly when you're ready for your test.

Big franchise companies generate most of their business through advertising and discounts. Your instructor could be anyone. Some have tried to work independently but weren't good enough. Worse, some franchises use trainee instructors but charge you the same rate.

With BB Driving School, you get a local independent instructor who knows the area, knows the test routes, and genuinely cares about your progress.

Can Any Other Driving School Match These Points?

If you're looking for driving lessons in Morley, driving lessons in Leeds, or driving lessons in Wakefield – or thinking about changing driving instructors – ask yourself:

• Do they have over 170 five-star Google reviews?
• Are their instructors Grade 'A' DVSA qualified?
• Do they offer free theory test training?
• Are their lessons structured and tailored to you?
• Do they use the same instructor every lesson?
• Do their pupils pass first time?

You can trust BB Driving School to get you to pass 1st time.

Every photo tells a story. Every review proves it. This is what our pupils have achieved – and you can too.

1. Word of Mouth is Best

The best way to choose an instructor is by recommendation. If friends or family have recently passed, ask about their experience. Most of our pupils come from word-of-mouth referrals – and that says everything.

2. Check Online Reviews

Read reviews before you commit. BB Driving School has fantastic reviews on Google and Facebook – genuine feedback from real learners across Morley, Leeds, and Wakefield.

3. Look for High-Grade Instructors

All instructors are tested every 4 years to maintain their standard. Some schools use trainee instructors (you'll spot them by the pink badge in the car window). At BB Driving School, you'll only ever be taught by a fully qualified instructor with a green badge.

BB Driving School is run by Justin Holmes, who has achieved the highest grade possible for over 25 years – Grade 6 from 1995 to 2015, and Grade A from 2015 to present.

4. Pass Rates Matter

You want a school with a high pass rate. Unfortunately, pass rates aren't publicly available, and any instructor could claim anything. That's why our reviews speak for themselves – our pupils pass first time, and they tell everyone about it.

5. Independent vs Big Franchise

Independent instructors work hard to build their reputation. They offer high standards and go the extra mile – because if they don't, they lose pupils.

Big franchise companies generate most of their business through advertising and discounts. Your instructor could be anyone. Some have tried to work independently but weren't good enough. Worse, some franchises use trainee instructors but charge you the same rate.

Choosing a local independent instructor benefits you both. No instructor wants long travelling times between lessons – it loses money and wastes your lesson time. Franchises often send instructors all over town. With BB Driving School, you get a local instructor who knows the area and the test routes.

6. Cheap vs Quality

You get what you pay for. Some companies offer big discounts on block bookings to entice you in. But ask yourself – why are they so cheap? Usually because they can't generate work through reputation alone.

BB Driving School offers quality over price. We'd rather deliver excellent tuition than compete on discounts.

7. Structured Lessons with Client-Centred Learning

Track your progress. Know where you are. Understand when you'll be ready for your test.

BB Driving School uses workbooks to make sure you've covered everything – building your confidence for test day. When you're nearing your test, we run mock tests to get you up to the required standard.

Plus, every BB pupil gets FREE access to the Theory Test Pro App – so your theory test is covered too.

8. Choose the Right Car

At BB Driving School, you'll learn in a stylish, modern dual-controlled car – easy to drive and perfect for manoeuvres.

9. Flexible Learning Options

Whether you're a complete beginner, have previous experience, want motorway lessons, Pass Plus, or refresher lessons – we cater for everyone.

With BB Driving School, you can book lessons in 1-hour, 1.5-hour, or 2-hour blocks. If you want to pass quicker, we offer semi-intensive courses (crash courses) subject to availability.

Your BB instructor has vast knowledge of all local test routes – so you're fully prepared for the roads you'll face on test day.

10. How Many Lessons Will You Need?

The DVSA recommends around 40 hours with an instructor and 20 hours of private practice. But every learner is different.

At BB Driving School, our goal is to turn you into a confident, aware, and knowledgeable driver – enabling you to pass first time in the shortest period possible.
